Audio file converter

Overview

It is a universal audio file converter, which supports all popular audio formats: WAV PCM, MP3 (MPEG Layer-3), WMA (Windows Media Audio), CDA, ALF2, ADPCM, GSM, DSP, A-LAW, U-LAW and Ogg Vorbis. Also comes with an ID Tag editor for music files -- This tool lets you change the artist name, title, Album name, Year, Add comments, change Genre information and much more!.
Why Conversion?

Normally audio files are made by sampling the audio with a specific sampling rate and with a specific size for each sample; this is how raw files are made but, what about size?!
Actually size does matter if we don't use any compression method, it would be difficult to store many of our favorites.
New audio formats were introduced with compression techniques some of them are compressed loosely (quality degrades after compression) others are compressed loose less (quality doesn't degrade).
Yet, compressed audio may be difficult to edit and add effects.
So, we need conversion for compression, to easily edit audio files and to add a tag to the audio files

What is a tag?

Some audio formats have something known as a tag which is some information associated with the file for description like author, title, genre, & comments ...etc.
Audio converter has a tag editor which is an easy way to edit tags.
