Welcome to the powerful video Decompiler tool from OneStopSoft. With OSS Video Decompiler you can: Decompile one of the following video formats: AVI, MPEG, MPG, ASF, WMV to one of the following image formats:
BMP, GIF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, EMF, WMF, PCX, TGA, J2K, RAS.

 Supports Windows 9X/ ME/ NT/ 2000/ XP/Vista Windows®

The main window consists of the following items:

Toolbar:

Add video files: press this button to add video files.
Remove video files: press this button to remove the selected video files.
Decompile: press this button to start decompiling the selected files.
About: show the about window.
Help: this will open the help window.
Order: to order this product or one of our products.
Exit: To exit the program.

To extract a frame into a file :-

1-The output will be the same path as determined in the 'Output Path" section in the main window.
2- Move to that frame (either by dragging the slider or playing or pressing 'Next Frame' button).
3- Select the type of the output image from the 'Output Format' list.
4- Press 'Extract Current Frame' button.

If you want to extract a portion of the video file:-

1-Set the slider to the starting frame you want to start with like step 2 above.

2-Select the type of the output image like step 3 above.

3- Press 'Start Continuous Extraction' button.

4-The 'Start Continuous Extraction' button will be renamed to 'Stop Extraction'

5-Press 'Stop Extraction' when needed

Note: be aware that the program will not respond partially after dragging the slider according to file's size.
Note: You can not extract an image while playing (you should stop playing first), or play while extracting.
Note: The program will extract all files one by one in extracting mode; also will play the files one by one in playing mode.
